Live blog transcript: Oscars 2013

All the Academy Awards have officially been handed out for the 85th year at the Dolby Theatre Sunday evening.

Oscar host Seth MacFarlane opened with a mildly edgy monologue that offered the usual polite jabs at the academy, the stars and the industry before moving onto doling out the famous golden Oscar statues.

The top-award for the night, Best Picture, goes to “Argo”

The award for Best Actor went to Daniel Day Lewis for his performance in Lincoln. Jennifer Lawrence may have tripped on her dress as she headed up the stairs to receive her Oscar for Best Actress for the Award for Best Actress in “Silver Linings Playbook.”
