Police also told 680News they could smell alcohol on the man’s breath, but he refused to provide a breath sample on the scene.
Making things worse for the man, his licence was already suspended when he was caught Sunday.
Among the charges against him are stunt driving and driving with a suspended licence.

144 km/hr on the DVP?? What time was he doing this?. I drive by on the DVP all the time and never can get up to 120 km/hr without having to slow down at Don Mills or Eglinton exits northbound. He must have been doing this real early in the morning, because it would be no way in the world he could do that speed with all the commuter traffic from 6 am to 10 pm.
Maybe he’s an illegal immigrant and will take advantage of Toronto’s new sanctuary program.
Jimbo, what your statement lacks in logic and sense, it more than makes up for in outright racism and stupidity.
he was already driving with a suspended license anyways. He will be back on the roads in a week and we all know that. Should of just crushed the car and locked him up instead of simply fining him!
He’ll probably do it again. You can’t fix stupid.
I’ve seen people driving much faster than 144km/h. I guess on the DVP it is 54km/h over the limit.
This guy is probably looking at some jail time with all his previous stupidity.
Not to worry, you’ll get your fancy BMW back in a week.
