A Brampton man has been arrested after a human trafficking investigation in the Niagara area.
The Niagara Regional Police domestic violence unit started the investigation in Niagara Falls on Friday.
The accused was already on bail for living off the avails of prostitution at the time of the arrest.
The 30-year-old suspect is facing 14 charges, including trafficking in persons and assault with a weapon.
His identity is being withheld to protect the victim’s identity.
