Toronto Mayor Rob Ford wants someone else to pay his $116,000 legal bill.
Ford is going after the man who dragged him into court in a conflict-of-interest case.
The mayor won an appeal of a lower-court ruling that kicked him out of office for violating conflict-of-interest rules.
As a result, he is allowed to ask divisional court to order Paul Magder, the man who launched the lawsuit, to pay up.
The mayor wants to be reimbursed for not only the lawyer’s fees, but also more than $9,000 in taxes and other expenses.
