Suspect arrested after man stabbed at Dundas West station

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a male suspect after a stabbing at Dundas West station Wednesday sent a 25-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the man was stabbed multiple times shortly before 4 p.m.

Jarret Elton Spencer, 21, of Toronto, was arrested in connection with the incident. He faces four charges, including aggravated assault and weapons dangerous.

Police also located a female who was considered a person of interest but have cleared her of involvement.

According to a CityNews report, the man was stabbed aboard a TTC bus in the bus platform area.

Police said the victim was transported to hospital with serious stab wounds.

All 168 Symington buses and 40 Junction buses were diverted as police investigated.
