If Canadian retailers would adjust their pricing accordingly, we could keep our dollars in our own country to help our economy. I personally don’t believe in cross border shopping, but for those that love it, and numbers speak, its the most economical way to go. However, the long term pinch on our retailers will eventually trickle down to hurt you when they are forced to close their doors, laying off hundreds of workers. It really doesn’t pay if you look at the big picture.
