TORONTO – Toronto police have laid more charges against a former national-level figure skating coach, accused of sexually assaulting a former student.
Sexual assault charges were first laid against Kevin Hicks, 53, in September 2012 in connection with an assault against a then 12-year-old boy between 1983 and 1990.
Police said a second man has now come forward, saying he was abused when he was 12 and 13 years old.
Hicks is now facing charges of three counts indecent assault.
He worked at a number of skating clubs in Burlington, Toronto, Mississauga and Windsor during the 1980s.
Police believe there may be more victims.
