TORONTO, Ont.  – One person is in hospital after a home invasion in the east end left two people with stab wounds.

Three suspects rushed into the Park Street home, in the Kingston Road and Midland Avenue area, just before 9 p.m. Sunday, according to police.

After an altercation two residents of the home were slashed and one of them had to be taken to hospital.

There has been no word on that victim’s condition.

Police remained on scene to investigate and are asking the public to call them or Crime Stoppers should they have any information.
