The Humber River Hospital is now reviewing all procedures after a baby, which had been pronounced dead, turned out to be alive Sunday.

According to a media release, all aspects of care involved in the case will be looked at – including the extensive resuscitation efforts by hospital physicians and staff.

Toronto police and emergency services will be involved in the review as well – and the Ministry of Health has also been informed.

Toronto police were keeping an eye on the child Sunday – waiting for the coroner to arrive when the two officers discovered the newborn had a pulse.

As of last report, the little girl had been stablized.
