TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a 27-year-old Whitby man in connection with a sexual assault aboard a GO train.
Police said a 15-year-old girl was assaulted Feb. 6 on a train travelling the Lakeshore East GO line.
Police alleged a man sat close to the teenager and appeared to take pictures of her with a cellphone before sexually assaulting her as the train approached the Rouge Hill GO station.
The girl was able to exit the train but the suspect followed her for a short distance before fleeing the area, police said.
Christopher Fraser was arrested Wednesday and is charged with sexual assault, voyeurism, indecent acts, criminal harassment, and obtaining transportation by fraud.
Police believe there may be more victims.
