Good call, agree 100%
video games? this is Jane & Finch. they’ve been shooting each other since the days of Space Invaders. Blame Rap music.
The “boy” will get 2yrs and be out in 6 months for good behavior.
Those violent games aren’t supposed to be for kids, or anyone under the age of 18 for that matter. Blame the parents and person at the video game store who sold them the game.
Hi, if someone was shooting a gun at you that many times, why is it manslaughter and not murder in the first degree? I think the 17 year olds intentions were pretty clear. The world as “we” knew it a long time ago has gone forever, and it will just get worse.
Gang influence takes the place of parenting. Most of these kids live in single family homes (absent fathers). They are a product of their environment. Gangs are like surrogate families to these young, lonely kids looking for significance and love. Unfortunately, they get a false sense of ‘respect’ and ‘loyalty’ which drives the violence because of the deep need to be accepted at all costs. Even if that means taking a gun and blowing someones brains out. So sad.
Also, violent games…I don’t understand that even toy guns are not allowed in schools but games with all high tach guns and ammunition etc. are easily available in the market. What are we giving to our kids…?
you have got to be part of the older generation that doesnt fully understand these “games” and technology but leech off the fact that they are/promote violence and what other people say. How sad sheep are..
gangsterism is a direct relation to family upbrining and people you hang around. Millions of people play these “violent” games so are these million people gangbangers?
It’s not movies and guns….it’s the lack of positive adult influence in youths lives and the over abundance of gang influence….
The 17-year-old’s name cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
This is crap! YOA has got to go! YOA was never meant for guns, murder & violence. It was meant to protect youth in non-violent and petty crimes
For God sake please ……… Ban Violent movies & Guns……………………..to save our next generations………..
