Several school bus cancellations in Southern Ontario; schools remain open

There have been several school bus cancellations in Southern Ontario, although the majority of schools will remain open.

In Durham Region school buses have been cancelled north of Highway 7, however schools will remain open in that area.

Meanwhile, all buses to schools in Muskoka and the City of Kawartha Lakes have been cancelled.

Schools will also remain open in that area.

School transportation service is cancelled for all schools in Peterborough City and County, Campbellford and in Northumberland County. Schools will remain open.

Buses have also been cancelled in Wiarton, Hepworth and Sauble Beach, with all schools remaining open.

All schools in Owen Sound will remain open, however, many bus routes into the region have been cancelled, including Routes 880 & 882 from the Meaford area and Route 897.

All buses have also been cancelled to Holland-Chatsworth along with Teeswater, Lucknow and Ripley.

Buses in the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board servicing St. Andrew, St. Benedict and St. Peter Elementary schools, along with R.F. Hall Secondary, are also all cancelled.

School buses have also been cancelled in Dufferin County, Guelph, South, Central and North Wellington and the Town of Erin.

Schools in those districts will remain open except those that rely completely on transportation.

  • Brisbane Public School
  • Eramosa Public School
  • Ponsonby Public School
  • Centre Peel Public School
  • Kenilworth Public School
  • Maryborough Public School
  • East Garafraxa Public School
  • Laurelwoods Elementary School
  • Primrose Public School
