The Toronto Transit Commission will be conducting ongoing, planned track work between Kipling and Keele subway stations this weekend.
Shuttle bus service will operate between Keele and Kipling stations on Saturday Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb. 10.
Frequent shuttle buses will stop inside Kipling, Islington, and Keele stations. Buses will pick-up passengers at street-level at Royal York, Old Mill, Jane, Runnymede and High Park stations.
A Wheel-Trans bus will be stationed at Dundas West station to assist customers travelling between Keel Station or beyond.
The ongoing track work by the TTC is to complete a full replacement of the crossover track, as the stone, steel and track ties have reached the end of their service.
Regular subway service will resume on Monday, February 11 at 6 a.m.

What type of news channel are you? You make no mention of the still ongoing system wide failure in the streetcar system. Snowbanks plus parked cars equals a failing streetcar system. No one reports it because heaven forbid we upset the streetcar fans. The TTC failed this weekend because they used up scarce shuttle buses for a poorly timed subway closure. That subway closure should have been delayed the moment we knew of the storm. Those shuttle buses were needed elsewhere.

Not a great time to be shutting down the subway after big snowstorm. People will be using it more than trying to drive. They should have postponed it.
