TORONTO, Ont. – As part of OK Tire’s 2013 annual conference in Toronto, dealers with the company will come together to build bikes for kids in need.
The OK Tire dealers will give away 50 bikes to families in need through the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club.
The club, which works with young people to develop life skills and values, has partnered with OK Tire to make sure children who don’t have the resources to buy a bike will be given one.
The give-away will happen Saturday between 2:30-5:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Centre in the Grand Ballroom.

You must be an Active Green & Ross store…maybe you should do the same…if everyone copied Ok Tire…We would have several more happy children in the GTA.
I don’t really mind that its a free advertisement. More business would mean (hopefully) more future giveaway
@ Don if free advertising is what it takes to get underpriviledged kids a free bike then I think it is worth it. I thank the media for covering the good news story.
I would love to see a picture of the kids smile on the front page of every newspaper when they get their bike.
It sure beats the stories and faces of those kids that get on the front page by tagedies like Sandy Hook.
I ask companies to continue their good deeds and they may get their name in the news.
Oh please. This is more about free advertising for them than anything else! Don’t get me wrong.. it’s nice they are doing this, but you know the biggest reason they are doing this is because it “looks good” and “free advertising” via news articles/reports such as this one.
Who cares if they are getting free advertising? Why would you even make that an issue. I don’t see you going and giving away 50 bikes to children in need. Just because they gave away the bikes, they got some free advertising, they did a good deed, it is not going to sway me to be a customer of theirs either way.
