why am I thinking someone will blame Rob Ford????
what difference does it make if the cars are left in the driveways / garages when it snows?? Don’t understand why the fuss. The owner’s will have to clean the cars – -is that the issue??? – If I choose not to put my car in my garage when it snows – of what importance is it to anyone – i am the one who has to clean it??? I am still confused as to the comments – -
Aside from the foul word, I didn’t see anything wrong with that Tweet. Some people just don’t get it. Park the ###@$%#$ car in your garage or driveway. That’s what they’re for.
“City officials suspect the account was hacked”??? You must be kidding. Is this how city officials cover their *ss these days by blame on hackers? Why can’t they admit the bad judgement and face consequences? People should make them accountable!
On another note, our city snow remover made a 2 feet high x 3 feet deep compacted snow at end of our 2 car driveway. It took me long time to dump it back onto the street so I can get out. Their snow removing service is making it worse for the home owners.
Easy solution. Invest in a &^%! snow blower. I bought mine use for $275 8 years ago. Idiots that shovel the snow back on the road can cause an accident when someone comes around the corner on a clear road to find a drift in the middle of the road.
2 things John. First, you dumping the snow back onto the street is illegal. So clearly you’re an idiot. Second, what would you expect the city’s snow removers to do, arrange an appointment with you to come to your driveway at a specific time and remove the snow windrow? They might as well give you a cookie and a pat on the head while they’re at it. You’re not the only person living in the city you know, everyone else who uses the roads depend on the reliability and timing of the city snow removers to get the snow cleared off the main roads – not individual driveway windrows. If they spent time removing every individual snow windrow from a driveway in the city, TAXES wasted and their TIME wasted, essentially taking them longer to clear the roads because they’d have to take time to clear a 2 feet high x 3 feet deep snow windrow for little Johnny. I have an idea, how about you design a snow plow arc that removes snow from the road AND prevent snow from accumulating on driveways. Post results when you’re successful.
Not necessarily a valid point because some households have more than two vehicles
It’s a valid point, under the circumstances. I don’t think an apology from the City is necessary. Investigation into the hacking – yes, apology – no
Could of been a simple oversight by someone who has access to the City twitter account and also has their own personal account linked on the same device/program. I doubt it was intentional. Seems like human error to me. A hacker would have been far more clever with their tweet.
