It appears a week-long hostage stand-off in Midland City, Alabama has ended.
A five-year-old boy who was being held hostage in a bunker is now safe.
The FBI feared that the child hostage was in danger, so they stormed the underground shelter and rescued the boy.
The suspect, Jim Dykes, 65, has died.
It’s not clear if Dykes killed himself or was killed by authorities.

The boy is ok, the nut job is dead. Life goes on and the tax payers can hopefully contribute to the boys treatment and recovery instead of the selfish idiot’s jail time and treatment. Much cheaper this way and another lunatic won’t make it back to the streets.
