RIDE spot checks in Ontario during Super Bowl weekend

Police forces across the province are encouraging football fans to enjoy this weekend’s Super Bowl — but to do so responsibly.
Police say Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) programs will be enhanced beginning Friday and until early Monday morning.
Officers will be on the roads across the province with additional officers dedicated to establishing RIDE spot checks and patrol officers in areas where Super Bowl celebrations are occurring.
Police are also reminding Super Bowl party hosts that they are responsible for their guests.
