TORONTO, Ont. – Police have arrested a woman who drove into a Forest Hill daycare early Saturday morning.
It’s alleged the woman was driving a Honda Civic near Avenue Road and St. Clair Avenue West around 3:30 a.m. when she lost control, plowed through a fence and crashed the car into the Gatehouse Family Day Care on Lonsdale Road.
The impact cracked the building’s brick wall, doing significant damage to the building.
The only passenger in the car was taken to hospital, although it’s not yet known how serious the injuries are.
The woman was arrested for impaired driving.
