I knew her as Spencer and just today learned of her passing. She gave the most incredible hugs and always had a great attitude and the biggest heart. I meet her when she worked at a store in Yorkdale and we became friends. Spencer wanted nothing from anyone and gave without expecting anything back. She appreciate everything that you did for her.
I remember having tea with here and talking for hours. It was easy to be around her. Elderly-NO WAY. Young!
I will always treasure my time with her and my life was made better by having her as a friend. I will carry her in my heart forever. Heaven has a new angle to watch over us.
Spencer- a total package of love, caring and goodness-Rest my dear friend well.
Love you XOXO
This was a great lady with lots of spirit. I knew her through my wife as the worked together. She always had a great story of funny comment to share. If you knew her you would not call her a senior as she had alot of energy. She will be missed. God Bless.
This lovely lady was one of my neighbours.
She was so giving, kind and courtious to others.
This is indeed so sad she passed this way.
Thank you for your comments. I was the niece of this lady and never considered her to be elderly. In fact, she was full of life and usually the first on the dance floor at any family party. She was taken too soon and will be deeply missed.
I agree with Kathy C. Please reconsider why and where you use “elderly” to describe someone.
I agree with Kathy C. I am 65 and do not consider myself elderly. Yes, I am a junior senior, but most definitely not “elderly” !
Seems like a petty comment, but out of respect for this woman…. I doubt that her family would see her as “elderly”.
