Ontario’s Wiarton Willie predicted an early spring, but that does not mean we’re completely finished with winter just yet.
Several areas in Southern Ontario are under a snow squall warning Saturday, including Willie’s native Wiarton and much of the Bruce Peninsula area.
The warning runs from the Niagara Falls area to Welland, along the Southern Niagara Region, up to Bracebridge and to the Bruce-Grey area.
Environment Canada is warning about zero-visibility in those areas, along with up to 15 centimetres of snow possible.
Barrie, meanwhile, is under a snow squall watch and anyone driving north of the city is warned there could be dangerous driving conditions because of heavy, blowing snow and and snow accumulation on untreated roads.
Here in the GTA light flurries and chilly temperatures are expected.
