MARKHAM, Ont. - York Region Crime Stoppers are seeking help to identify a suspect in an incident of debit card fraud in Markham.
The suspect used fraudulent ID to get a debit card in another person’s name in September, police said. Throughout the day, roughly $15,000 was withdrawn from the account from various locations.
The suspect is described as 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds, with red hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS.
