TORONTO – A dog who was lost has been found safe by its owner following a pedestrian-struck collision.

A 24-year-old woman and her dog were struck by a tow truck at the intersection of Danforth and Kennedy roads at around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The dog then broke free from its owner and ran off.

The owner was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but it’s not known what injuries the dog received.

The owner found her dog, “Diesel,” a one-and-a-half-year-old male Great Dane.
