MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Peel police are investigating after a man was shot and stabbed in Mississauga, Ont., early on Tuesday morning.

The victim is in critical but stable condition at a Toronto hospital, Const. Thomas Ruttan told CityNews.

It happened around 3 a.m.

The victim was found in the lobby of the Alt Hotel on Viscount Road, close to the airport, but told police he was stabbed on Torbram Road north of Derry Road.

The two locations are about four kilometres apart. It’s not yet known how the man made his way to the hotel.

There’s no word on suspects.
