BURLINGTON, Ont. – Halton police say they’ve arrested three people in connection with the assault of a taxi driver in Burlington, Ont., on Saturday.
Two men and a woman ranging 19-22 years old faces aggravated assault charges.
Halton police said the taxi driver took the three to a townhouse complex at 455 Woodview Ave. At that time, a dispute arose and a physical confrontation began.
The taxi driver was taken to hospital suffering from several fractures to his arm and face.
Police are still asking for witnesses to come forward, in particular a passerby who intervened to help the taxi driver and called 911.
