KITCHENER, Ont. – A family of four was hurt in a house explosion and fire in Kitchener.
Firefighters were called to the home on Activa Avenue, near Highway 7 and Fischer Hallman Road, around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
The residents — two adults and two children — were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Fire officials planned to wait for daylight before going inside the ruins of the home to determine the cause.
