TORONTO – A portion of the Yonge-University-Spadina line will be closed this weekend due to construction.

The closure runs from Union to St. Andrew stations, starting on Saturday. Regular subway service will resume at 6 a.m. Monday.

Trains on the University-Spadina line will turn back north at St. Andrew station, while trains on the Yonge subway will turn back north at Union station.

TTC riders will need to use the Yonge subway to get to Union station, or the University subway to travel to St. Andrew station.

Riders can also use the 94 Wellesley bus, or 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcars as alternatives.

Accessible replacement buses will be provided as well.
