Three charged in fatal Mississauga stabbing

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Three people have been charged with murder in the death of a 24-year-old Woodbridge man.

Peel region police and emergency services were called to an apartment building at Acorn Place near Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue on Jan. 13.

Police located Vittorio Andrew Aiello with a stab wound. He died in hospital two days later.

David Michael Quinn, 19, of Mississauga and Michael Boaheng, 19, of Brampton are charged with first-degree murder.

Vi Sandra Hoang, 23, of Mississauga is charged with second-degree murder.

Police have also issued an arrest warrant for a fourth suspect. Eric Nana Kyeremateng, 23, of Mississauga, is wanted for first-degree murder.

According to a CityNews report, the victim and the accused met for a “minor drug transaction” but it is not clear what led to the stabbing.

Aiello is Peel Region’s second homicide of 2013.
