Dengue fever is now the fastest spreading insect-borne virus in the world.

The World Health organization reports it has now reached, quote “epidemic potential.”

Dengue fever, which is spread by mosquito bites, is now in more countries involving more people than any other time in history.

It is found in over 125 countries and currently there are outbreaks on Portugal’s Madeira and Paraguay.

There have been 70 deaths from dengue in the last three months and more than 6,0000 confirmed cases.
