TORONTO – A man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a sex-trade worker turned himself in to police.

The 32-year-old man surrendered Wednesday.

Toronto police allege that a man forcibly confined the victim in the Yonge and Charles streets area on Dec. 22, sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her.

Ankur Sindhu of Toronto is charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and threatening death.
