Winning ticket for Friday’s $50M Lotto Max jackpot sold in Toronto

It will likely be an extremely nice holiday break for at least one person in Toronto, after OLG revealed a single winning ticket was sold in the Toronto-area for Friday’s $50-million Lotto Max jackpot.

The exact location in the city has not yet been revealed, as OLG would only confirm that it is a single-ticket winner. An OLD spokesperson did confirm to 680News that the ticket was sold within Toronto proper as opposed to the GTA.

There were also three second prize tickets in Ontario worth $149,887, all purchased in the Toronto-area.

There were two Maxmillions prizes, each worth $1 million, also available Friday night, however there has been no word on whether either of the prizes was won.

Next Friday Lotto Max will have its jackpot reset to approximately $12 million.
