Omar Khadr will not be released from prison for another two years.
The Toronto Star reports Correctional Services plans to keep the former Guantanamo detainee at the Milhaven prison until at least December 2014.

Khadr would have been eligible for day-parole if he had not be convicted of terrorism. A conviction of terrorism contains an automatic maximum security designation.
