TORONTO, Ont. – A woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after she was struck by a TTC bus in North York Wednesday night.
The pedestrian was struck at Yonge Street and Finch Avenue shortly before 8 p.m.
Initial reports said that the woman was trapped beneath the bus, however, Toronto police say only her jacket and backpack were pinned.
She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The intersection was shut down for the investigation.
There is no word on whether charges will be laid.
