Water is out for hundreds of people on Kingsbridge Garden Circle in Mississauga but should be back by 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
It was shut off around 11 p.m. on Tuesday because of a watermain break.
It affects eight higrise buildings, 12 homes and some businesses in the area, Peel officials told 680News.
Bottled water is being delivered to those home in the area until the problem can be fixed.
It’s not yet clear what caused the break but it is not weather-related.
