As you prepare to hit the mall for Christmas shopping, the CAA is offering a few reminders.
The Toronto police said there’s often a slight spike in the number of reported collisions on private property this time of year and that includes mall parking lots.
The tips include:
- Drive slowly in parking lots – watch out for pedestrians
- Avoid using the horn
- Don’t take up two parking spots
- Use your signal smartly. If you’re waiting for a spot, it can be helpful to other drivers
- Don’t try to squeeze into parking spots
And then – get your shopping done!
