TORONTO, Ont. – You won’t see Mayor Rob Ford at City Hall this week — he’s officially on vacation.
Ford’s office has confirmed the mayor is taking some time off, but wouldn’t specify where he’s going or how long he’ll be away.
The break comes just a few days after a judge granted him a stay, allowing him to remain in office as he appeals a conflict-of-interest ruling that tossed him out of office.
The mayor’s appeal of that decision is set for Jan. 7, 2013.
