Construction worker injured after fall from Markham rooftop

MARKHAM, Ont. – A construction worker was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling off the roof of a Markham building Tuesday afternoon.
The man, said to be in his 40s, was working at a construction site near Woodbine Avenue Bypass and Elgin Mills shortly before 3 p.m. when he fell.
Emergency services arrived at the scene around 3:30 p.m., according to an Ornge spokesperson.
