TORONTO, Ont. – Police have taped off the entrance to a CIBC bank location in Vaughan, after it was struck by a van early Sunday morning.
The van crashed into the building, located at Weston Road and Highway 7, around 2:30 a.m., damaging the structure and leaving glass and debris.
A truck towed the van from the scene following the incident.
No serious injuries were reported and police have not yet speculated on the cause of the crash.
There has also been no word on how much damage was caused or whether any charges are pending.
In another vehicular incident, at around 3 a.m. a vehicle T-boned a taxi making a U-turn on Bathurst Street just south of King Street.
Three people in the taxi were treated for minor injuries.
