HAMILTON, Ont. – Hamilton police have released the name of a man charged in the city’s sixth homicide of the year.
Officers who responded to a call Thursday afternoon found a man lying on the street at Blake Street and Maplewood Avenue, bleeding heavily from the neck.
He later died in hospital and police determined that he’d been involved in an altercation with another person in a home.
Steven Corbett, 35, of Hamilton, is charged with second-degree murder.
The name of the victim is being withheld as next of kin have yet to be notified.
