TORONTO, Ont. – Those needing to use the washroom on a trip to Toronto’s beaches now have another option.
The city’s second, fully automated public toilet opened, Friday, and is located on Lake Shore Blvd. East at Northern Dancer Blvd.
The first automated washroom opened in May 2010, and sits at Queen’s Quay and Rees Street.
To use the washrooms, it costs 25 cents, and the city has promised it will be maintained by service personnel, even though it’s a self-cleaning unit.
