TORONTO, Ont. – Police have arrested three people after three separate Friday morning crashes, and officers believe alcohol may have been a factor in all of them.

One crash involved a man being arrested after driving across several front lawns in Markham just after 4 a.m.

He only came to a stop when he crashed into the garage of a house on Raymerville Drive, near 16th Avenue and McCowan Road.

No one was seriously injured in that incident and there has been no word on any charges or the cost of the damage.

In another incident, a woman suffered a broken leg after she crashed her car into a pole around 4 a.m. Friday at Colborne Lodge Drive and Lake Shore Boulevard West.

She had to be extricated from the car, police said.

No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.

Less than an hour later, police stopped a female driver that was going the wrong way on a one-way street.

She was taken into custody on Palmerston Avenue near Dundas Street West.

There has been no official word on charges in any of the cases but police suspect alcohol may have been a factor in each.

Meanwhile, in a fourth incident which took place outside the GTA, a 21-year-old woman was stopped by a R.I.D.E. officer in Lindsay after he saw she was driving with no pants.

The woman, from Bowmanville, faces impaired driving charges, a 90-day licence suspension, and the car – her boyfriend’s – has been impounded for a week.
