HOLLYWOOD – Eddie Murphy has been named and shamed as Hollywood’s most overpaid actor, according to Forbes magazine.

The annual list is calculated by weighing a star’s paycheque against the money generated by his or her ticket sales at the box office.

Murphy had several box office bombs like Imagine That, A Thousand Words and Meet Dave.

Faring slightly better is Katherine Heigl in second place — followed by Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock in third and fourth, respectively, while funnyman Jack Black rounds out the top five.
