Calgary website lets children send digital wish-lists to Santa

Christmas is coming and today’s children may not want to bother writing a letter to Santa the usual way.

A Calgary, Alta.-based website — emailsanta.com — offers tech-savvy children to write directly to Mr. Claus online.

The head elf lives in Calgary and began the website during a Canadian postal strike in 1996.

Santa started out answering 100,000 messages in the first year, and now deals with more than one-million.

The website also has a “naughty or nice” list and a Christmas countdown clock.
