There’s a warning from the Canadian Avalanche Centre.
The centre says a high avalanche risk exists for several B-C mountain ranges, meaning travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
Several slides have been reported in the Kootenay Pass and South Columbia areas.
And explosive testing has produced a number of snow slides in the Sea-to-Sky region around Whistler.
