TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto city Councillor Ana Bailao’s impaired driving case is back in court, Monday.
Bailao, 36, faces charges of impaired driving after being arrested in October on Bathurst Street near Harbord Street.
The councillor, who represents Ward 18-Davenport, is still working and intends to plead not-guilty.
The Toronto Star reported Bailao will not be in court, as her lawyer is expected to ask that the case be put off to a later date, so he can review evidence.
