TORONTO, Ont. — Cool temperatures and flurries are coming off the lake resulting in slick roads and sidewalks in the GTA Friday.
Enviroment Canada has issued a special weather statement advising of patchy freezing drizzle making it a dicey evening commute for cars and pedestrians.
The conditions are expected to continue into Saturday morning. No accumulation is expected; but sidewalks and roads will remain slippery.
Temperatures Friday night are expected to remain at -3 C before heading up to 5 C Saturday. Temperatures may climb to a high of 12 C Sunday with periods of rain.
