TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police are investigating yet another sexual assault at York University’s Keele campus.

York’s security services said it’s assisting police in the investigation of a sexual assault that happened in the basement of Stong College in front of the art gallery.

The incident occurred on Thursday over the noon hour.

A female student was approached by a man who asked if she wanted to dance, grabbed her hand and then pressed himself against her.

The woman pulled away and the suspect took off.

The suspect is described as:

  • 6’2″
  • Around 20 years old
  • Thin build
  • Brown hair in a Mohawk haircut

Last week, a 20-year-old student was sexually assaulted after getting off a TTC bus at York Lanes.

Earlier this year, the school administration announced it was spending $9.5-million on student safety and security-related expenses, including more lighting and emergency phones on the grounds.
