Police have charged a Durham Catholic District School Board employee with stealing thousands of dollars from a school in Ajax.
An internal audit discovered more than $12,000 missing from St. Bernadette school.
The money was stolen over the course of a two-year period spanning from September 2010 to August 2012, the police investigation revealed.
Police charged Oshawa-resident Bridget McKeever, 45, with theft over $5,000.
