It’s the time of year again when some companies host holiday parties for their employees, but a recent survey found some would rather forgo the festivities.
A new U.S. survey shows 73 per cent of people would prefer a cash bonus instead of a Christmas party or dinner.
When people were asked which holiday perk they preferred, a bonus was at the top of the list, followed by a raise and then extra time off.
A third of respondents said getting a raise was their top work-related New Year’s Resolution and one-quarter said they would be looking for a new job in January.
