OSHAWA, Ont. – An Oshawa man is facing charges after he was caught going the wrong way on a 401 off-ramp.
Durham Regional Police said a number of drivers were forced to swerve to avoid the suspect’s vehicle when he entered the 401 in the Oshawa area.
An officer was able to pull over the driver and make an arrest before anyone was hurt.
Jorge Blight, 27, is charged with impaired operation, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.
Police said there was also a passenger in the car.
