A NASA scientist wants everyone to know — the world is NOT going to end in three weeks.
Some people believe the calendar of the ancient Mayans predicts the world will come to an end on December 21st.
But space scientist David Morrison says the Doomsday warning is nonsense.
Morrison rejects one prediction that a planet will crash into the earth.
He says if there were such an object, it would be the brightest thing in the sky after the sun and moon — and anybody could see it.
Morrison says he’s been busy answering disturbing letters from those who believe the myth — some from children who are scared and others from people who write that they’re even contemplating suicide.
He says one person wrote that their dog is their best friend and asked when would be the best time to put her to sleep so she won’t suffer in the apocalypse.
